An elderly man is dead after his car collided with a semi-truck on state Highway 54 near Wisconsin Rapids, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department.
The man, 88, was driving on Chestnut Street when it crashed with the semi, according to the release. The semi driver was not hurt.
Investigators said Thursday's morning's rain and snow were not factors in the crash.
No other details were released.
