WOODBRIDGE, CT : Woman ‘critical’ after crash with oil truck on Sunday, December, 17th 2017
A woman was in critical condition after being extricated from her car following a collision with a home delivery oil truck.
Sgt. Anthony J. Cappiello of the Woodbridge Police Department said the crash occured around 4 p.m Sunday on Racebrook Road near the intersection with Milan Road.
He said the woman, who is in her 40s, was removed from her Lexus sedan by the Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Department and transported to Yale New Haven Hospital by AMR ambulance.
Cappiello said the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection also responded to the scene and assisted with removal of the oil truck.
