Manatee County, FL : Tractor-trailer driver sought in hit-and-run crash on Saturday March 6 2016
Authorities are looking for the driver of a tractor-trailer that collided with a car on State Road 70 and then fled the scene.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol:
At about 8 p.m. Friday, Lori Brosseau, 48, of Myakka City was driving a 2003 Olsdmobile westbound on S.R. 70, east of Sugar Bowl Road.
A white semi tractor hauling a green fruit trailer was eastbound when it traveled into the westbound lane, colliding with the left side of the Oldsmobile.
The Oldsmobile rotated counterclockwise and traveled off the roadway where it collided with a barbed-wire fence.
The semi did not stop and continued driving eastbound on S.R. 70.
Brousseau and a 14-year-old girl sustained minor injuries and were both taken to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Another passenger, Timothy Harvard, 48, of Arcadia was not injured.
