ANDERSON COUNTY, SC : Coroner responds to crash involving moped in Anderson Co on Monday, 15th January 2024

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a moped driver died Monday night following a crash in the Pelzer area.

Officials said the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. along Highway 20 in Pelzer.

According to officials, the victim was reportedly traveling along Highway 20 when they were hit by a vehicle that was turning onto Highway 20 from a parking lot.

Officials stated that the victim passed away at the scene. The Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 53-year-old Tammy Seigle from Pelzer.
