Man killed in Oregon motorcycle accident was from Bothell
A sheriff’s officer says a motorcyclist killed in a high-speed weekend crash north of Estacada, Ore., was a 21-year-old man from Bothell.
Clackamas County sheriff’s Sgt. Dan Kraus identified the victim on Tuesday as Alexander Mezich.
The Oregonian reports that witnesses told deputies the motorcycle raced past them Saturday night at speeds estimated to be more than 100 mph.
Mezich was tossed about 60 feet when his motorcycle left the road and hit a power pole. He died before he could be flown to a hospital.
