Tampa, FL : Two from Spring Hill die after being ejected from motorcycle in Hudson crash on Sunday afternoon, April 9, 2017

A Spring Hill pair were killed Sunday afternoon when they were thrown from a motorcycle after the driver lost control on a curve, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 4:51 p.m., Anthony Joseph Pilotti, 44, of Spring Hill, was driving a 2002 Yamaha XV1700 eastbound on State Road 52 with passenger Holly Starcia Rich, 44, troopers said.

As they were approaching the intersection of Moon Lake Road, troopers said, Pilotti failed to negotiate a curve and hit the center median.

Rich died at the scene, troopers said. Pilotti was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where he later died.
