One Passenger died in crash near the corner of Heintz and Erb

St. Louis County Police say a passenger in a pick-up truck has died from injuries suffered in a Friday night crash.

It happened in South County, near the corner of Heintz and Erb.

Police say 18-year-old Kenny Khammanivong of Oakville did not survive.

The driver only identified by police as a fellow 18-year-old – suffered lesser injuries and is being treated at a hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
