GUILFORD COUNTY, NC : 1 charged in deadly crash after failing to stop at a red light on Thursday, 11th January 2024

A woman is dead after a crash on US-29 in Guilford County on Thursday, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

Around 4:18 p.m., troopers received a report about a crash on US-29 at River Road.

Investigators said 49-year-old Eric Steve Osborne, of Thomasville, was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram truck south on US-29, before crashing into 42-year-old Lorena Valadez Pacheco, of Greensboro, who was driving east on River Road in a 2007 Honda Accord.
