Lincoln, NE : Fatal single car collision in Beatrice on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016

Gage County Sheriff's office, Beatrice Rural Fire and Rescue and Beatrice Rescue responded to a fatal single-car collision around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Southwest 61st and West Hoyt roads in Beatrice.

Kevin Patterson, 36, died shortly after he collided with a tall embankment at a high speed, said Brandon Schley, a sergeant with the sheriff's office in Gage County.

Patterson was driving his Chevy Tahoe north on Southwest 61st when he came to the T intersection.
