YORK COUNTY, PA : 1 dead, 7 hospitalized after two-vehicle crash in York County on Sunday, 8th September 2024

One person is dead and seven others hospitalized after a crash Sunday evening in York County, according to emergency dispatchers.

Dispatchers report that the two-vehicle crash occurred around 6:55 p.m. on North Sherman and Philadelphia streets. Reports indicate that a home at the intersection of both streets was struck.

Seven people were transported to York Hospital to receive treatment for their injuries, dispatchers said. The severity of their injuries has not been detailed at this time.

The coroner was called to the scene around 11:22 p.m.
