COLUMBIA, SC : 2 dead following 3-vehicle crash in Richland County on Sunday, 22nd September 2024

Two people are dead following a three-vehicle crash in Richland County.

The crash happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday on I-20 Eastbound near mile marker 70.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), a 2004 Mercedes Benz, a 2009 Honda sedan and a Dodge sedan were in eastbound lanes near mile marker 70 and collided.

The driver of the Mercedes Benz and one out of the two occupants of the Honda sedan died. The other occupant of the Honda was taken to a local hospital by EMS.
