Marne, MI : Two students injured after school bus crash in western Michigan on Thursday morning, December 3, 2015
Authorities say two students were taken to a hospital with injuries after a school bus went off a road in western Michigan.
The Ottawa County sheriff's department responded following the Thursday morning crash in Marne and the bus was upright near the road.
WOOD-TV reports two teenage students were taken to a hospital with serious injuries that weren't considered to be life-threatening and three other students on the bus for Zion Christian School in Byron Center had minor injuries.
The Grand Rapids Press reports the driver told investigators she lost track of her location and drove through an intersection where one roadway ended. She wasn't injured.
Capt. John Wolffis says the bus apparently went airborne before stopping. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which is under investigation.
