Logan, UT :UHP investigates three-vehicle accident involving LCPD Detective on Monday, June 29th 2015

Utah Highway Patrol troopers were called to investigate a three-vehicle accident Monday morning involving a detective from the Logan City Police Department.
UHP trooper Joshua Preece said a woman was driving a white Buick La Sabre southbound on US 89/91, when she ran a red light at the intersection of 1700 South, striking an unmarked police SUV.The force of the impact rolled the SUV onto its side and pushed it onto the hood of a third vehicle, a Buick Century that was stopped in the intersection waiting to make a left turn.Preece said none of the three-vehicle's occupants suffered any major injuries and the driver of the Buick La Sabre was ticketed for failing to stop at a red light.The accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. and blocked east and westbound traffic along 1700 South and 600 West for an hour.
