Mound City , SD : 17-year-old Tanner Lesch Killed and two others injured in Two Vehicle Crash after she collided at an intersection on Friday ,April 3rd 2015

A 17-year-old girl from Selby is dead following a two-vehicle crash near Mound City.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Asiajae Spotted Horse was a passenger in one of the two vehicles that crashed Friday. Both drivers were injured.

Authorities say a 1996 Ford Taurus driven by 40-year-old Corey Hart and a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by 17-year-old Tanner Lesch collided at an intersection four miles south of Mound City.

The pickup rolled onto its top. Lesch was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. Spotted Horse was a passenger in the pickup and was trapped in the vehicle.

All three were transported to Mobridge Regional Hospital, where Spotted Horse was pronounced dead.

The Highway Patrol is investigating and charges are pending.
