FOWLER, IL : Quincy woman injured in crash west of Fowler on Sunday, March 19th 2017

A Quincy woman was injured in a Sunday night crash west of Fowler.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reports a 2002 Honda Civic driven by Jodi M. Gravitt, 30, of Quincy, was westbound on U.S. 24 at North 84th. The department said Gravitt fell asleep at the wheel and went off the road, struck a guard rail and then went down an embankment.

Gravitt, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Blessing Hospital with minor injuries.

She was cited for improper lane usage and DUI-drugs.

The department was assisted by Adams County Ambulance and Central Adams Fire Department.
