KILLEN, AL : 29-year-old dies following motorcycle crash in Killen on Sunday, 4th August 2024

A 29-year-old has died following a motorcycle crash in Killen on Saturday afternoon, according to WAFF’s newspaper partner, The Times Daily.

The Daily reports the incident happened on U.S. Highway 72 near Action Gun and Pawn shop around 4:45 p.m.

Killen Police Chief Bryan Hammond tells the Daily that a driver of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound and crossed the median into the westbound lanes on Highway 72 into an embankment and crashed into some trees.

The driver has been identified as Kollin Blake Barber. He was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where he later died.
