MULBERRY, FL : A Plant City man died early morning on May, Monday, 22nd 2017

A Plant City man died early Monday morning after losing control of his 2007 Nissan Altima while traveling west on State Road 60 in Mulberry.
Hector Benitez, 44, was declared dead at the scene of the crash that happened about 12:15 a.m., according to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
Benitez’s vehicle veered onto the grassy shoulder of the highway and struck a fence at Massey Auto Sales, 4089 S.R. 60, spokeswoman Michele Cash said in a news release. After hitting the fence, the Nissan struck three parked vehicles before coming to a rest.
Benitez was partially ejected from his car, Cash said. Investigators are waiting on the results of a toxicology report to complete their investigation. No other vehicles were involved.
