Man charged in crash that kills Price woman in Price Utah
A 27-year-old man has been charged with automobile homicide in a crash in Carbon County that killed a Price woman.Alvin Carter of Magna also was charged Friday in 7th District Court with driving on a revoked license and failure to maintain control on a road.
The Deseret News reports his first court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 21.Investigators say Carter's pickup truck slid off a road near Scofield Reservoir on July 7, went down a 150-foot embankment and rolled multiple times.Carter and his passenger, 22-year-old Brooke Tomadakis, were ejected from the truck. She died at the scene.Another passenger managed to crawl out of the truck and was taken to the hospital with broken vertebrae in his neck and back and several broken ribs.
