Orlando, FL : 27-year-old man dead in Motorcycle crash in Orange County on Wednesday night, April 29, 2015

A 27-year-old man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle late Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Andrew Robert Sargent, of Orlando, was traveling southbound on Ferndell Road approaching Alhambra Drive around 10:31 p.m. in Orange County.

For an unknown reason, Sargent lost control of his Kawasaki motorcycle. He was thrown from the motorcycle and onto the roadway.

Sargent, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
