Detroit, MI : Driver serious injuries in single-vehicle crash on I-75 on Sunday November 1 2015

Two separate crashes on I-75 near 8 Mile Rd. closed the highway on Sunday morning, but it reopened shortly after 9 a.m.
According to Michigan State Police Lt. Michael Shaw, a driver was in a single-vehicle crash on I-75, when they exited the vehicle.
The driver was then hit by a second vehicle while they were outside of their car.
According to Shaw, the first driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
MSP troopers are still investigating the incident, and they believe alcohol is a factor.
