LEXINGTON, KY : 1 dead after Russell Cave Rd crash on Thursday, 27th July 2023

One person is dead after a crash in Lexington, according to the Fayette County Coroner.

The crash happened on Russell Cave Road Wednesday evening.

The coroner’s office identified the victim early Thursday morning as 29-year-old William McMakin.

His cause of death is listed as multiple blunt force injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
