MERIDEN, CT : Box truck accident closes lane on Interstate 691 on Tuesday, 30th July 2019

A truck accident on Interstate 691 Tuesday morning caused eastbound traffic congestion, according to the state Department of Transportation.The box truck accident, reported at 6:52 a.m., closed the right lane of the roadway and slowed traffic for 3.6 miles between exits 3 and 5.

that the truck had rolled over down the embankment near Exit 5.There is no word on whether anyone was injured.
