JACKSONVILLE, FL : 60-year-old bicyclist killed in Northside crash on Friday, 5th July 2024

A traffic crash between a vehicle and a bicycle on the Northside has left a 60-year-old bicyclist dead, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Edgewood Avenue, police said.

A 4-door Hyundai was heading westbound on Cassat Avenue when it struck a bicyclist, a Black man in his 60s who was pronounced dead at the scene.
