A teenager from Mobile died Sunday in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 65 near Cullman on Sunday.

Quitman Carvine Clarke, 18, died in the wreck about a mile south of Cullman at 4:45 a.m., according to a report from the Alabama State Troopers.

Clarke was driving a 2009 Honda Accord on the interstate when the car left the road, struck a utility pole and crashed into a tree, the report stated.

Troopers said Clarke wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other teenage passengers also weren't wearing seatbelts and were taken to hospitals to be treated for injuries, Troopers reported

The wreck is under investigation.
