Amarillo, TX : Former Amarillo Venom football player dies in car crash on State Highway 136 on Sunday morning, July 26, 2015
A former football player for the Amarillo Venom is dead after a Sunday morning accident.
At approximately 9:10 a.m. the Department of Public Safety, responded to a crash on State Highway 136, about 13 miles northeast of Amarillo, where they found 31-year-old Rodney Ray “Biscuit” Evans Jr., had been ejected from his vehicle.
According to DPS, Evans had driven his 2015 Ford Expedition off the road and struck a guardrail. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. Evans was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
