BIRMINGHAM, AL : I-65 now open in both directions after 18-wheeler crash near Montgomery Hwy. exit on Monday, 8th January 2024

Interstate 65 in both directions is now open at the Montgomery Highway exit after an 18-wheeler crash.

The incident happened at mile post 252.4 near exit 252 on I-65, the Montgomery Highway exit that takes you into Hoover or Vestavia Hills.

The cab of an 18-wheeler that was headed north on I-65 wound up on the southbound side.

We do not know of any injuries.
