Pittsfield, IL : A Mozier man was seriously injured in a head-on crash at Pike County On Friday, July 8th, 2016

A Mozier man was seriously injured in a head-on crash at 1:45 p.m. Friday on Spring Lake Road a quarter-mile east of 140th Avenue in Pike County.
The Illinois State Police said Lonnie Brady of Mozier was driving a 2002 Ford passenger car west on Spring Lake Road when the car crossed into the path of an eastbound 2002 Dodge pickup truck driven by Trevor Helkey of

Pittsfield, resulting in a head-on crash.
Police said in a press release that Brady suffered serious injuries and was flown by Air Evac to a hospital in St. Louis. The injury status of Helkey and a passenger in his truck was not provided.
Brady was issued a ticket for improper lane usage -- wrong side of roadway.
Assisting at the crash scene were the Pike County EMS, Spring Creek EMS, Pleasant Hill Fire and Rescue and Pike County Sheriff's Department.
