Phoenix, AZ : I-10 west between Casa Grande, Valley reopens after fatal crash on Thursday, 27th October, 2016

Traffic headed into the Valley on Interstate 10 was halted north of Casa Grande for nearly two hours due to a fatal crash Thursday night.

The crash occurred at milepost 179, which is approximately midway between Phoenix and Casa Grande.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said in a tweet that a person died in the two-vehicle collision. DPS troopers had rerouted I-10 westbound traffic onto State Route 187.

No other details about the crash were immediately available.
