Two people are dead and another was seriously injured after their pickup truck collided with a semi-truck in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened Thursday just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 192 and Alligator Lake Shore Drive.
Troopers say the pickup truck was traveling north on Alligator Lake Shore Drive, approaching a stop at U.S. 192.
According to FHP, the pickup truck tried to make a left turn onto U.S. 192 and drove into the path of the oncoming semi-truck driven by Jimmy Copeland, 48, of Lakeland.
The driver of the pickup, William Johnson, 31, of St. Cloud and his passenger, 29-year-old Andrew Jones, of Kissimmee, were killed. Another passenger, Brenden Sombelon, 19, of St. Cloud was seriously injured. Parsons was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
The crash is under investigation.
