Montgomery, IL : Ten Boulder Hill students injured in school bus crash in Montgomery on Friday, February 20, 2015
A northern Illinois school district says 10 students were injured when a school bus was involved in a crash in Montgomery.
School District 308 spokesman Brian Graves says the students were taken to the Rush Copley Medical Center and are in good condition. The crash occurred about 8:15 a.m. Friday as the bus was headed to Boulder Hill Elementary School.
Graves says 31 students were onboard along with its driver at the time of the crash.
The district did not release details of the crash, but television helicopter footage showed a heavily damage car at a snowy intersection and the bus off the road in an adjacent lot.
Graves says Superintendent of Schools Matthew Wendt and other administrators met the students at the hospital.
