Topeka, KS : No injuries in three-car collision on Tuesday at S.W. 29th and McClure near Interstate 470 on August 12, 2014

No one was seriously hurt after three cars collided at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at S.W. 29th and McClure. The crash, which occurred on the off-ramp near Interstate 470, slowed traffic for almost an hour while officers investigated. A woman heading west ran a red light at the intersection and struck a car turning west onto S.W. 29th, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Her car then careened into another car in the eastbound lane of S.W. 29th. That car was only slightly damaged, and the driver was unhurt. The two cars in the initial collision were towed from the scene. Two people, a man and a girl, were in the first car that was hit.
