Anderson , SC ; 27 - years old person was injured and Charged after Car crashed into Power pole on early Thursday , January 15th 2015

An early-morning chase in Anderson landed a man in the hospital facing criminal charges early Thursday.

Police say a routine traffic stop of a Toyota Tacoma on South Fant Street at Wardlaw Street sparked a short chase just before 4:30 a.m. That's in the South Anderson area.

The chase ended when the driver hit a telephone pole, flipping his pickup on South Fant at Hall Street.

Police arrested Matthew Norris, 27, and took him to the Anderson City Jail for booking.
