Greensburg, PA : Motorcyclist injured in crash in Plum on Tuesday, September 27, 2016

A man was transported to Forbes Hospital in Monroeville with a possible leg injury as a result of an accident Tuesday in Plum.

Plum police Sgt. Scott Ricketts said officers responded to a three-vehicle crash at 12:26 p.m. at the intersection of Unity Center and Universal roads.

The injured man was operating a motorcycle. The other two vehicles involved were a pickup truck and a Jeep Liberty.

Ricketts said the victim was alert and in pain when officers arrived. He was transported to the hospital quickly and the intersection was closed for approximately 45 minutes, said Ricketts.

No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
