PALMVIEW, TX : Woman and 2-year-old die in wrong way crash on Monday, 24th June 2024

A woman and her 2-year-old son are dead after a wrong-way crash north of Palmview.

Sgt. Maria Hernandez with DPS says the accident was a head-on collision involving two vehicles.

The crash happened at approximately 3 p.m., north of Palmview on FM 2221, east of Abram Road.

A preliminary investigation revealed a white Chevrolet 2500O HD pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on FM 2221 when a black Chevrolet Cruze car traveling the wrong way collided with truck.
