Richmond, NH : An 88-year-old Vermont woman was killed in a crash at Route 30 On Tuesday, April 26th, 2016

An 88-year-old Vermont woman was killed Tuesday in a crash involving a truck driver from New Hampshire, state police said.

Steve Morin, 33, of Richmond, was driving on Route 30 in Dummerston, Vermont, when he rear-ended a car and pushed it into oncoming traffic.

Charlene Higgins, who was riding as a passenger, died after the car was struck by a second vehicle.

Morin was not hurt. The two other drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe wet road conditions could have played a role in the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
