KANSAS CITY, KS : Dirt bike driver dies after collision with vehicle near Central Avenue in KCK on Sunday, 28th January 2024

The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Traffic Division is investigating a deadly two vehicle accident. At 7:32 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, KCKPD were dispatched to Central Avenue and Interstate 70 on an accident call.

A vehicle was traveling west on Central Avenue when a dirt bike was struck by the vehicle after turning onto westbound Central Avenue from an entrance ramp.

The driver of the dirt bike was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
