Riverside, CA : 1 motorcycle rider dies, second severely injured when vehicle strikes bike in Riverside collision on Wednesday, 26th June 2019

One motorcycle rider was killed and another suffered severe head injuries after their bike, stopped and waiting to make a turn, was struck from behind at a Riverside intersection late Wednesday night, police said.

At 10:30 p.m., the motorcycle was stopped on Adams Street waiting to turn left onto Camelia Drive when hit by a Honda Civic, Riverside Sgt. Eric Detmer said.

The crash was under investigation.
