Council Bluffs, IA : 16-year-old died and two other students injuries in vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 80 on Friday December 4 2015
A 16-year-old has died and two other students have suffered injuries in a vehicle rollover on Interstate 80.
The Daily Nonpareil that the crash happened around 10:20 a.m. Friday, killing Haley Wright, a passenger in the car.Police say the car left the highway and rolled into an embankment. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other 16-year-olds, Kaitlyn Renshaw and Ethan Conger, were injured. Police say Renshaw, who was driving, suffered significant injuries, but that the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police say Conger suffered minor injuries.
Wright was a junior at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. Renshaw and Conger are also students there.
