DeSoto, TX : Motorcyclist killed by passing SUV after crashing his bike on I-35E in DeSoto on Friday, 31st August 2018

A man was killed after he crashed his motorcycle and was hit by a passing vehicle as he was running off Interstate 35E on Friday in DeSoto.

The man was traveling south with a group of other motorcyclists around 1:45 a.m. when he lost control of his bike on I-35E near Parkerville Road, DeSoto police said.While he was trying to run off the highway, he was struck by a silver SUV, police said. He died at the scene.

The driver of the SUV pulled over and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
