Authorities say a driver has died in a one-vehicle crash north of the Twin Cities.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Department says the crash happened Sunday evening in Ramsey. Officers arrived on the scene at about 6:40 p.m. and found a pickup truck that had veered off the road, hit a tree and come to a rest in a yard.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.

No further details were available Tuesday night.

An investigation is ongoing.
