Another pedestrian accident spurs police to action in Annapolis Maryland
Anne Arundel County Police are taking action after yet another deadly pedestrian accident. There were two this weekend--one last night on the Rowe Boulevard exit off of route 50 and another on Friday along west street near Route 2 in Annapolis.
The commander of the traffic enforcement division announced a new program Monday called "35 to save lives."It's an effort to help patrol officers make it safer for drivers and pedestrians.
The program will focus the following areas: distracted driving, impaired driving, pedestrian safety, aggressive driving and speed enforcement.Police want people to be more aware of people walking around, and to take more precautions while driving.
