Bedford, NY : Driver arrested in fatal wrong way collision on I-684 in Westchester County on Sunday, December 13, 2015

State police say a 23-year-old Scarsdale man has been arrested on a criminally negligent homicide charge in connection with a fatal collision in Westchester County.

Police say Zachary Tokson was driving the wrong way on Interstate 684 in Bedford just before 6 a.m. Sunday when he collided head on with a car driven by 64-year-old Elena Lopez of Mount Kisco.

Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say Tokson and his passenger were hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.

Police were still investigating whether alcohol played a part in the accident. Information on Tokson's lawyer was not immediately available.
