SUFFIELD, CT : 2 injured in Suffield roll-over crash on Friday, 11th January 2019

Two people were injured in a roll-over accident Thursday night that has forced the closure of Copper Hill Road.

A sedan car crashed at about 6:50 p.m. and rolled over off the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, Police Capt. Christopher McKee said.

The male and female in the car were treated on the scene by emergency medical personnel and then brought to local hospitals by the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance. McKee did not immediately release the extent of their injuries.The crash forced the street to be closed between Griffin and Stratton Farms Road. It is expected to be closed for several hours while police investigate, so motorists are asked to avoid the area, he said.

The regional North Central Municipal Police Accident Reconstruction Squad is assisting Suffield officers with the investigation of the crash, McKee said.
