Richmond, KY : Car crashes into Waco home on Thursday, February 23, 2017

Kentucky State Police and Madison County EMS were called to the area of Flint Road in Waco, after a vehicle crashed into a home just before 2 p.m. Thursday.

According to Kentucky State Trooper Robert Purdy, it appears Joseph Sydow, 37, of Berea, lost control of his 2005 Ford Excursion and collided with the house. No one was in the home at the time. Sydow was transported to University of Kentucky Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, said Purdy. A child, who was also in the vehicle at the time, was unharmed.

Trooper Ken Bradley is conducting the ongoing investigation. Additional KSP personnel, Madison County Fire and Rescue, Waco Fire Department and Madison County EMS assisted at the scene.
