Anchorage, AK : One person died after a fatal car crash at Dimond Boulevard and C Street early Friday morning, February 5, 2016

A fatal car crash early Friday morning closed a busy Anchorage intersection.

Police took a call on the single-vehicle crash at 3:30 a.m. and say one person died at Dimond Boulevard and C Street.

Four hours later, investigators were still at the scene and police were telling drivers to avoid the location.

Police say the person killed appeared to be the only one in the vehicle.
