Westford, MA : Bicyclist injured in collision with car on Depot Street Sunday morning, July 3, 2016

A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a car on Depot Street Sunday morning, police said.

The crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Depot Street and Beaver Dam Drive, according to Sgt. Chris Ricard.

The bicyclist was injured and transported to the hospital, Ricard said. It was not clear how serious the bicyclist's injuries were.

Details on the circumstances of the crash were not immediately available. Ricard said the incident remained under investigation. No one had been charged as of Sunday afternoon.

Depot street was closed between Woolsack Drive and Cummings Road as authorities worked at the scene.
