Midlothian, VA : 72-year-old Chesterfield man killed in single-car crash in the 12600 block of Bailey Bridge Road on Monday, 31st December 2018

A 72-year-old man killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning may have been experiencing a medical emergency, Chesterfield County police said.

The crash occurred around 11 a.m. in the 12600 block of Bailey Bridge Road, about a half-mile off state Route 288, when a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Timothy Brown ran off the road and into a ditchBrown, of the 10800 block of Avening Road, was found unresponsive in the vehicle, police said.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said they believe Brown suffered a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
