WALKER COUNTY, AL : 4 dead after head-on collision on I-22 at Mile Marker 61 on Thursday, 11th July 2019

According to the Walker County Coroner, there was a head-on crash involving two vehicles on I-22 at Mile Marker 61.

One vehicle had four people inside. All four passengers, who are not from Alabama, died in the crash.

The other vehicle caught fire and the one person inside the vehicle was transported to a local hospital in Jasper.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. Thursday morning, the four victims were pronounced dead at 5:15 a.m.
