Emergency crews responded after an SUV overturned Wednesday afternoon south of Newton.

Five people, including three young children, were rushed to the hospital. Officials said the children were ages 6, 4 and 1.

The crash happened before 4 p.m. at the intersection of St. James Church and Smyre Farms roads.
