Haines City, FL : Police seeking ID of driver killed in fiery Bartow crash in the 1200 block of U.S. 17 North on Saturday, 21st March, 2020

Bartow police said an unidentified driver was killed Saturday morning when a car crashed into a tree and caught fire.
Bartow Fire Department was called to a brush fire at 6:13 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of U.S. 17 North. When firefighters arrived, they saw a 1994 Oldsmobile 98 had left the road and struck a tree, causing the fire, according to a Saturday news release.
Upon extinguishing the fire, a body was found inside the vehicle, according to the release.
Police said they hope an autopsy will determine the identity of the driver.
